Steve began composing at age 13 when he got his first keyboard workstation. He attended the New England Conservatory Preparatory School of Music for four years in high school where he took classes in both jazz and classical composition, theory, and orchestration. He began to find his voice while attending the University of Miami to study Classical Composition, Media Writing & Performance, and Studio Music & Jazz. At Miami, he learned his foundation as a composer and engineer. How to write for orchestra, film/tv, classical & jazz groups, conduct, and record/mix it all in the studio. At Miami, he won a Downbeat Music Award for his composition ‘Mystical Substance’.

After school Steve moved to New York City where he began working for OMG Pop (nyc’s largest facebook game company) and composed music and sounds for all of their games from 2011 - 2014. After OMG, he had his music placed in two Superbowl commercials and began scoring indie films and IOS games. He has also Mixed/Mastered 10+ live albums at Smalls Jazz Club in NYC.

Now located in Los Angeles, Steve is ready for any situation with his expertise in composing and arranging for all genres and ensembles.
